The Growth of Jesus Reigns Community Churches Across Uganda

Under the vision and mission of Jesus Reigns Community Empowerment Organisation, the Jesus Reigns Community Churches were established to strengthen the body of Christ and extend the message of the Gospel to communities across Uganda.

Currently, the ministry has successfully planted three active churches located in Masaka, Kyali, and Rwabusi districts. These churches were founded as part of a broader mission to reach souls, empower believers, and build Christ-centered communities through evangelism and discipleship.

Each church operates as a beacon of hope, serving its community not only through worship and teaching, but also through crusades, conferences, and seminars that aim to transform lives and draw people closer to God. The churches have become centers for spiritual growth, leadership training, and community outreach, reflecting the ministry’s commitment to the “Practical Gospel” — serving both the spiritual and physical needs of God’s people.

Through these efforts, many have come to Christ, families have been restored, and communities have experienced revival. The ministry continues to expand with the goal of establishing more Jesus Reigns Community Churches in other parts of Uganda and beyond, fulfilling the great commission of making disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19).

As these churches continue to grow, they stand as a testimony that the Gospel of Jesus Christ still has the power to change lives, heal hearts, and bring unity among God’s people.

Empowering Widows Through the Jesus Reigns Liquid Soap Project

As part of its mission to uplift vulnerable groups and promote self-reliance, Jesus Reigns Community Empowerment Organisation launched the Jesus Reigns Liquid Soap Project in Masaka’s rural community. This initiative was created to help widows gain a sustainable source of income through soap-making and liquid soap production.

The project currently benefits 30 widows, who are actively engaged in the process of producing and selling quality liquid soap and jerry cans to local markets, schools, and households. Through hands-on training and mentorship, these women have gained practical skills that not only help them earn a living but also restore their confidence and dignity.

Beyond financial empowerment, the project serves as a platform for fellowship and encouragement, where widows come together to pray, learn, and support one another as they rebuild their lives. It stands as a shining example of how faith, when put into action, can transform lives and create lasting change within communities.

The Jesus Reigns Liquid Soap Project continues to grow, with plans to expand production and reach more women across Uganda. Through this initiative, the ministry remains committed to demonstrating the love of Christ by empowering widows to live productive, hopeful, and independent

The Jesus Reigns Poultry Project: Supporting Orphans and Sustaining the Ministry

In an effort to create sustainable sources of income and improve nutrition for children under its care, Jesus Reigns Community Empowerment Organisation established the Jesus Reigns Poultry Project. This initiative was designed to serve a dual purpose — to generate additional income for the ministry and to provide nutritious eggs to orphans and vulnerable children each week.

The project began modestly with 10 birds, and through God’s grace and consistent care, the number has now grown to 40 healthy birds. The poultry project has become a valuable support system, supplying eggs that are included in the children’s weekly meals to strengthen their diet and promote better health.

Beyond improving nutrition, the project helps reduce ministry expenses by supplying eggs for both feeding programs and local sales, whose proceeds support other ongoing community initiatives.

The Jesus Reigns Poultry Project stands as a testament to the ministry’s commitment to sustainability, stewardship, and compassion — showing that even small beginnings can grow into impactful programs that bless many lives.

As the flock continues to increase, the ministry looks forward to expanding the project to reach more children and ensure every orphan under its care receives both physical nourishment and spiritual love.

As these churches continue to grow, they stand as a testimony that the Gospel of Jesus Christ still has the power to change lives, heal hearts, and bring unity among God’s people.
