Our mission is to empower communities and live the Christian life. We are dedicated to serving the vulnerable and bereaved in our communities, following the teachings of Jesus Christ.
Founded in 2017 by Muwanguzi Elijah, JRCEO began with a vision to uplift orphans and vulnerable individuals in rural Uganda. With the support of our community, we have grown from assisting 10 orphans and 5 widows to over 100 orphans and 50 widows across three districts.
Our registered organization operates from P.O. Box 401, Masaka, Uganda, and is dedicated to expanding our reach and impact.
A humble orphan inspired by his upbringing under the care of a Christian pastor. His vision is to continue supporting vulnerable groups and establish sustainable sources of income for those in need.

Our initiatives are designed to empower, uplift, and provide sustainable solutions for those in need. Here are the key causes we focus on:
We provide essential support for orphans, ensuring they have access to food, shelter, education, and emotional care. Our orphanage program aims to create a nurturing environment where children can thrive.
Widows and elderly individuals often face significant challenges. Our programs offer resources, skills training, and emotional support to help them regain their dignity and improve their livelihoods.
Education is a powerful tool for empowerment. We work to provide educational opportunities for orphans and vulnerable children, ensuring they have access to quality schooling and resources.
Through medical outreach programs, we aim to improve access to healthcare services for underserved communities. We focus on promoting health education, hygiene, and disease prevention.
We advocate for children with autism and other disabilities, providing support, resources, and training to promote inclusion and acceptance in our communities.
Our projects, such as the Widows’ Liquid Soap Project, aim to create sustainable income sources for vulnerable individuals, helping them achieve self-reliance and economic independence.
We engage in church planting and community development initiatives, promoting spiritual growth and social cohesion through the establishment of community churches.
We work to raise awareness about the challenges faced by vulnerable groups, advocating for their rights and needs within the community and beyond.
These jelly tins are more than just a product on a shelf—they are a symbol of hope, dignity, and community transformation.
They are produced through our Widows Empowerment Project, where vulnerable women are supported with skills, training, and income-generating opportunities to rebuild their lives and provide for their families. Similar community-based empowerment initiatives
in Uganda focus on helping widows become self-reliant through sustainable economic activities and small businesses.

Under the vision and mission of Jesus Reigns Community Empowerment Organisation,
the Jesus Reigns Community Churches were established to strengthen
the body of Christ and extend the message of the Gospel to communities across Uganda.
Currently, the ministry has successfully planted three active churches located in Masaka, Kyali, and Rwabusi districts.
These churches were founded as part of a broader mission to reach souls, empower believers, and build Christ-centered
communities through evangelism and discipleship.
Each church operates as a beacon of hope, serving its community not only through worship and teaching,
but also through crusades, conferences, and seminars that aim to transform lives and draw people closer to God.
The churches have become centers for spiritual growth, leadership training, and community outreach,
reflecting the ministry’s commitment to the “Practical Gospel” — serving both the spiritual and physical needs of God’s people.
Through these efforts, many have come to Christ, families have been restored, and communities have experienced revival.
The ministry continues to expand with the goal of establishing more Jesus Reigns Community Churches in other parts
of Uganda and beyond, fulfilling the great commission of making disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19).
As these churches continue to grow, they stand as a testimony that the Gospel of Jesus Christ still has the power
to change lives, heal hearts, and bring unity among God’s people.
